If you have dozens of iPhone photos in HEIC and you need to share them, batch conversion is the difference between a 2 minute task and an afternoon.

QuickImager lets you convert multiple HEIC files to JPG in a single run, entirely in your browser (no uploads). Start here: HEIC to JPG.

The simple workflow

  1. Open HEIC to JPG
  2. Drop in a batch (up to 20 files at a time).
  3. Choose your output settings.
  4. Convert, then download as a ZIP or per-file.

Before you batch: a quick prep checklist

If you’re doing a large conversion (dozens or hundreds of photos), a tiny bit of prep saves time:

  • Pick one “test” HEIC photo and run it first.
  • Confirm your quality and metadata settings look right.
  • Decide how you want to organize downloads (one ZIP per batch, or per-file).

Batch tips that actually matter

1) Convert in “meaningful” batches

Even if you have 200 photos, you do not need to do them one by one. But you also do not want to overload your browser tab.

  • If your laptop is older, try batches of 5-10 first.
  • If your photos are huge (high megapixel), smaller batches usually feel faster.

2) Keep settings consistent

Pick your defaults once, then keep them for the batch so the output is predictable:

  • Quality: Use high quality if you are archiving or printing. Lower it a bit if you are optimizing for sharing.
  • Remove metadata: Great privacy default if you do not want location data in shared images.

3) Download as a ZIP when you can

If you are converting a lot of files, downloading them individually is slow and error-prone. ZIP download keeps everything together and makes it easier to move into folders afterwards.

4) Keep an original archive

If these are important photos, keep the original HEIC files somewhere safe (iCloud/Photos, external drive, etc). Treat JPG as a “share” format.

If you need PNG instead of JPG

JPG is the best “works everywhere” output, but sometimes PNG is better:

  • You need the sharpest text/screenshot output.
  • You are doing additional editing and want to avoid repeated JPG recompression.

Try: HEIC to PNG.

Common batch conversion problems

  • A few files fail while others succeed: Some HEIC files are slightly different (Live Photos, bursts). Try converting the failing ones individually to isolate the issue.
  • The tab freezes: Close other heavy tabs, especially video or large web apps. Convert in smaller batches.
  • The results are still too big: After you have JPGs, consider compressing further by converting JPG to WebP for web use: JPG to WebP.

FAQ

  • How many files can I convert at once? Batch conversion supports up to 20 files at a time. If you have more, run multiple batches.
  • Will this keep my filenames? Converted files usually keep recognizable names, but workflows vary. If naming matters, test a small batch first.
  • Is this private? Yes. Files are processed locally in your browser with no uploads.

When you are ready: Batch convert HEIC to JPG.
